How to Pack-A-Punch on Liberty Falls in Black Ops 6 Zombies

The ability to Pack-A-Punch weapons is a staple in Call of Duty Zombies, and the Liberty Falls map in Black Ops 6 makes it easy to do so.

Liberty Falls is one of two maps available at the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies. It’s considered the more casual map compared to its counterpart, Terminus, as it features an easier Easter Egg and a more laid-out environment. However, Liberty Falls still has all of the staples of a Zombies map, including perks, Wall-Buys, and the Pack-A-Punch machine.

The ability to Pack-A-Punch weapons has been present in every Zombies title and Black Ops 6 is no different. The process of Pack-A-Punching involves spending currency to upgrade your currently equipped weapon. This allows you to more effectively deal with zombies as the round count progresses.

To see the entire Pack-A-Punch process on Liberty Falls in Black Ops 6 Zombies, keep reading below.

Where is Pack-A-Punch located in Liberty Falls?

First, we need to establish the exact location of the Pack-A-Punch machine in Liberty Falls. Fortunately, unlike other Zombies maps, the machine doesn’t need to be unlocked through any specific method or steps. Instead, you simply buy a few doors/entryways, and you gain access to the machine.

Specifically, the Pack-A-Punch machine is located on the western end of Liberty Falls, inside the large church. This requires you to purchase three doors, which are indicated by blue lasers, and also the entryway to the church.

The entryway is blocked by a "dimensional membrane" that has pink and purple vines all across it. You’ll need upwards of 7,000 Essence (money) to get through all the doors and inside the church.

Once in the church, go to the pew at the back of the room to find the Pack-A-Punch machine. You can use the machine at any round, but you’ll likely have to wait at least a few rounds before you’re able to use it.

How to Pack-A-Punch weapons in Liberty Falls

After you’ve made it to the church and up to the Pack-A-Punch machine, it’s time to “pack” your weapon. There are three stages of Pack-A-Punch per weapon in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Each stage upgrades your weapon in damage while the first stage boosts your base magazine size.

So, after the first stage, you’ll have a larger magazine size and more damage. However, the second and third stages will just bring damage increases. You can pair this with a solid loadout for Zombies to ensure your weapon has maximum damage and the largest magazine size possible.

Each subsequent Pack-A-Punch stage costs more and more Essence. In total, you’ll need 50,000 Essence to fully pack one weapon. Here’s how the Essence is broken down per Pack-A-Punch stage:

  • First stage: 5,000 Essence
  • Second stage: 15,000 Essence
  • Third stage: 30,000 Essence

Every time you Pack-A-Punch a weapon, it will change camos. This lets you know what stage a weapon is on in case you forget. Whenever you have enough Essence to Pack-A-Punch a weapon, regardless of its stage, simply head back to the church and re-insert it into the machine. The process is instant, so you don’t need to worry about being weaponless while the Pack-A-Punch is happening.

You can Pack-A-Punch any weapon in Black Ops 6 Zombies. This includes your primary weapon, any Wall-Buy, and all Mystery Box weapons. However, toward the later rounds, even a stage three Pack-A-Punched weapon might seem weak towards Manglers, Abominations, and other elite zombies. If you feel that way, it’s recommended to also increase the rarity of a weapon.

How to increase weapon rarity in Black Ops 6 Zombies

Increasing the rarity of a weapon is different from Pack-A-Punching but rewards you with a stronger weapon. To increase a weapon’s rarity, head to an “Arsenal” machine. These look like vending machines with weapons inside a glass case. You can find them all around the map on Liberty Falls or Terminus.

At this machine, you can scroll over to the “Weapon Rarity” tab. You’ll see four rarity upgrades available, with each subsequent upgrade costing more Salvage. Salvage is different from Essence, as it’s only acquired by picking up the green stacks on the ground. You can upgrade to Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarity. Every upgrade costs more Salvage than the last.

While this isn’t as effective as Pack-A-Punching, the two upgrades work extremely well in tandem with each other. If you have a stage three Pack-A-Punched weapon with the highest rarity equipped, you’ll be able to last quite long in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
