World of Warcraft is a long-running franchise, and sometimes we get curious about how long we've actually played the game. If you want to check yours, read on to see how to do that.
Have you ever been curious about your total game time in World of Warcraft? The method to see that is very easy. We'll show you how to do that. All you need is an active WoW account and be in the game.
Don't feel too bad about how much time you've spent in the game. After all, we call it "Time Well Wasted." We'll share a couple of examples from the SteelSeries staffers. For the Horde/Alliance!
How to see game time spent in World of Warcraft
- Log in with your character and enter the game world.
- Either click on the chat window, or simply press / then type in played. The entire command is /played.
- A console message will pop up, displaying your total game time spent on that character in days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
- If you want to know the time played in WoW with all characters on your account, you'll have to do this command with each one of them and then add the time yourself.
A Support Article from Blizzard also suggests that there may be a way to receive "additional information" by requesting data from your account; however, we are not sure what kind of data it might contain.
There you go! All that you need to in order to see your total time played in WoW is to type /played.
